At SAMSONPLAB ACADEMY we provide dental training courses for Overseas Registration Exam/Lecentiate of Dental Surgery Registration Exam.
We provide training for the manikin exercises for ORE, GDC exam.
We have very experienced teachers who have been doing this for the past 7 years . You are therefore guaranteed of high quality training.
We have all the facilities and equipement recommended by the the GDC, consortium list.
We believe that one day courses are too less and very expensive for the time required for the preparation to achieve the standards required by the GDC
We have designed out training to pay by hour rate, so that it is easier for candidates to chose the amount of time they want at the affordable price
We have the following bandings you can choose from:
BAND A:
£30 per hour including supervision.
Under this banding you have access to phantom head, jaw, drill unit and filling materials(composites amalgam, R.T.C).
This will not include burs, handpiece and typodont.
Candidates have the choice of bringing their own material, jaws or teeth.
BAND B:
£50 per hour (including supervision).
Practice on Phantom Head, unit (Airotor, Micromotor), Frasaco Jaws, burs , both slow and fast handpiece, composite, RTC, filling material, hand instruments e.t.c
DENTAL OSCE MOCK EXAMS
We now run OSCE mock tests which will greatly improve your hands on skills for the OSCE exam.
This is a one day course which contains clinical skills & there is no actor OSCE mock. The Whole mock contains 18-25 stations. and the stations include Include number of medical emergencies , surveyors , BPE , IOTN , IV cannulation , BP , suture , CPR e.t.c

Brief Outline of OSCE programme:
10 -10:20 a.m. Registration & coffe/tea time
10:30 a.m.: Overview of course and introduction
10:45 – 13:15: OSCE Rounds approx 25 stations
13:15-13:45 Lunch : Light refreshments available but advised to get own lunch (Mc Donalds nearby)
14.00 – 17:00 – Practice sessions on clinical skills and tutorials. This include individual feed back from the mocks.
